Director of Development

The MSU Alumni Foundation seeks to hire 2 development officers to serve as fundraisers for Montana State University. Preference will be given to candidates that demonstrate an interest in Science, Technology Engineering and Math, Architecture and/or the Arts including Film, Photography, Art, Music. A Director of Development (DOD) for the Montana State University Alumni Foundation is responsible for securing and stewarding private charitable gifts from individuals, foundations, and other philanthropic entities to benefit Montana State University. Fundraising responsibilities include cultivating philanthropic relationships by travelling in-state, regionally, and nationally and promoting MSU’s strategic plans and priorities, academic units, funding priorities, and general needs. Recruitment will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
