A talented and visionary Director of Photography to collaborate closely with the director to craft a visually compelling narrative that authentically represents the heart and soul of New Orleans. The DP will be responsible for designing and executing the visual style, capturing authentic footage, and ensuring the film’s aesthetic aligns with its emotional and storytelling goals. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the director to develop the visual concept and style for the documentary; plan and execute all cinematography shots, including interviews, vérité footage, and cityscapes; select appropriate camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and accessories to achieve the desired look; oversee camera crews and lighting teams during filming; manage technical aspects of the shoot, including framing, camera movement, exposure, and color; ensure all footage is of high quality and consistent throughout production; adapt to changing conditions and locations within New Orleans, capturing the city's unique atmosphere; collaborate in post-production to ensure visual continuity and quality.
