We are seeking a skilled and creative Director of Photography (DP) for Exhale, a 10–15 minute supernatural horror short film shooting in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate should have experience working on narrative projects, preferably in the horror or thriller genre, and be comfortable working with a small, efficient crew. The DP will collaborate closely with the director to craft an atmospheric, visually driven story with a strong emphasis on lighting, shadows, and mood. The film will use a combination of medium wide shots, low-key lighting, warm candlelight, and cold shadowed spaces to heighten tension. Familiarity with single-location storytelling, night shoots, and practical horror effects is a plus.
