Seeking an experienced documentary DP who owns a Sony mirrorless cinema camera. Director provides Sony FX30 as Camera B. Looking for a Camera A operator who shoots Sony and understands S-Log and S-Cinetone color profiles. Both cameras must match for a seamless edit.
We are in production on Still Here — a short hybrid documentary targeting documentary festivals. We are seeking an experienced Director of Photography for Camera A — the primary camera on this production. Camera A is dedicated entirely to our main subject — an 85-year-old woman who is vibrant, spontaneous, and cannot be directed. Your job is to follow her, anticipate her, and disappear. She cannot know you are there. Everything she gives us is real and will not happen twice. You must be ready every time. All interior locations — apartment, condo lobby, adult day program, church, and restaurant.
Shoot days are non-consecutive over approximately 6-8 weeks. Subject's optimal hours are 11am to 3:30pm. Estimated 4-6 shoot days total. Positive energy, down to earth, and no ego on set — our subject picks up on the energy of people around her and this is a production requirement not a personality preference.
