Seeking a DP for an intimate, character driven short film set in NYC/NJ. The story follows a woman navigating grief, financial pressure, and creative burnout, told mostly through behavior and silence rather than dialogue. Visual references include Obsession and Aftersun, with a static, observational camera and dark, underexposed lighting throughout. Looking for someone who understands stillness as a storytelling tool and can build an intimate, psychologically grounded look. Paid position. 2-3 shoot days this July in NYC/NJ.
Software/equipment skills:
- Own camera/lens package highly preferred
- Experience lighting low light, naturalistic interiors
- Familiarity with handheld and locked off static setups
