DP for a 15-minute non-union sailing thriller shot almost entirely aboard a 27' sailboat the director owns and sails. On the water, the DP and one AC are the entire camera department -- you operate, you solve the light with sun and bounce, you own the image alone. Water experience comes first; a great reel without sea legs doesn't survive this deck. Owner-operator package preferred (kit fee paid; any FX3-class or comparable cinema kit) -- we rent if you don't own. Genuine pluses: breath-hold/underwater shooting, and a Part 107 with your own drone (if you fly, the batched aerial days are yours). Prep is in the deal and named: shot-list sessions, a two-day island scout aboard the boat, and a Cat Harbor overnight at the finale anchorage in late August. Mainland block last week of September; Catalina island block first week of October. Before any offer, the director takes every candidate for an afternoon sail. Script on request.
