Director of Photography

Position Overview: Mamie Lash Studios is hiring a Director of Photography to lead the creative direction, training, and national expansion of our photography team. This role will work directly with Mamie Lash (Founder & President) to capture the spirit of the brand’s unique creative vision and translate it into a repeatable, scalable process that can be taught to photographers across the country. As the business expands, your focus will shift toward hiring, onboarding, and mentoring a team of boudoir photographers nationally. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with Mamie Lash to define and systematize the creative process of boudoir photography—from lighting and posing to client experience and editing standards. Qualifications: • Professional photography experience, ideally in studio or boudoir settings • Proven experience managing a team or studio (multi-location or franchised a plus) • Expertise in lighting, posing, client coaching, and in-camera artistry • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (retouching oversight a plus) • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Willingness to travel (domestically) up to 25% as studios expand • Comfortable in an environment where adult themes and nudity are part of the artistic product, always approached with professionalism and discretion
