About the Show – The Story of Art in America season 6
The Story of Art in America: Public Art will explore public art and the people behind it—artists, commissioners, and the public in 5 cities, Toledo, OH, Burlington, NC, Harrisburg, PA, Newark, NJ, and Provincetown, MA.

For the upcoming season, we are looking to hire two experienced Directors of Photography (DPs) to join our traveling production team.

Production Details

This is a road-trip filming production starting August 20th in Toledo, OH, and ending September 10th in Provincetown, MA, with the Film Director.

You will be part of a small, dynamic crew working in real environments—on the streets, in studios, and within communities.

All production logistics are directly covered by Legit Productions:

Accommodation
All meals
Rental car
Travel coordination

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 5 years of experience filming interviews (ITW / documentary style)
Fully equipped, including:
Full-frame camera
Professional lenses
Lighting kit
Sound recording gear
Gimbal
Drone (a plus)
Valid driving license and minimum of five years of driving experience
Authorization to work in the United States
Ready to be on the road for 20 days
Highly independent, resourceful, and adaptable to uncontrolled environments
Comfortable working in a small documentary crew

Compensation

$4,000 for the work from Aug 20th to Sept 10th.
$300 prepaid card for miscellaneous not covered by production
Non-union position
