When we’re not on site for load-in or show, our team works on a hybrid model–sometimes from home, and sometimes all together at our office/studio. You’re a collaborative leader on projects; you work together with Producer/Director on each production to accomplish creative and logistical challenges, and you can manage crew in your department on set. You like thinking on your feet, rolling with the punches, and going with the flow—you pick the metaphor, the point is that you’re comfortable in fast-moving environments. These are the must haves: • Minimum of 4 years experience in corporate and commercial video production with samples where you were the DP • Expertise with various camera systems (rigging, technical, lensing, etc) • Well-versed in lighting techniques (3-point, motivated lighting, RBG, negative fill, the works) • Proficiency with audio capture (lav / boom) • Familiarity with gimbals and gimbal work • Skilled at developing and executing a video or event’s visual style and creative vision with a Producer/Director • Ability to select the appropriate gear for a production, create shot lists, rig camera bodies, and manage a crew (1-7+) on set • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with teammates and clients • Experience or interest in leading camera teams for live events using broadcast cameras Application Question(s): • What type of experience, if any, do you have with multi-cam work for live events?
