Driftwood is a 40-year established service-oriented surf & lifestyle shop in Fernandina Beach. We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team providing personalized upbeat service to each of our customers. - Sales: Engage all customers with personality and product knowledge to drive sales - Customer service: Ensure positive customer experience with your excellent service - Register: Efficiently and accurately handling cash and credit cards - Merchandizing: Aesthetic arrangement of product to maximize sales - Help with social media: Product photography and positive representation of the shop - Learning: Continue to gain knowledge about surf product and customers - Help with surf clinics and camps (if you surf). - Retail experience preferred but not necessary - Strong work ethic: Busy times may require long hours - Flexible schedule: Must be available weekends and some holidays - Ability to engage in a mature and friendly way with customers - Clean and organized - Creativity in helping to create a nicely-arranged and inviting space for shoppers - Non-smoking If you are out-going, have the ability to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment then please drop off your resume at the shop so we may meet you.
