entry level position at digital imaging & printing studio

This is an entry-level position and we will train you; that said, familiarity with inkjet printing, experience with artwork handling and photographic film handling are required. An interest in learning drum scanning, color calibration, and print mounting/laminating skills is beneficial. Must be a team player, adaptable to quickly evolving workflows, able to multitask efficiently, with delicate handling skills and acute attention to detail. Your primary role will be to assist with fulfilling daily print orders for our premium retail clients, as well as in the production of stretched canvas prints for artists and other clients. Experience or familiarity with the following is a must: \\- Good eye for color and color correction \\- Attention to detail \\- Interest in art & photography Duties include the following: \\- Precise color correction, cleanup, and image manipulation in Adobe CC Photoshop \\- Large format fine art printing on 60" and 44" inkjet printers \\- Proofing, printing, UV coating, and stretching canvas prints \\- Museum- quality handling of all materials - prints, photographic film, and original artwork \\- Equipment calibration, including printers & monitors \\- Building and maintaining relationships with high-end clients \\- Packaging prints/Tracking supplies Work environment is in a very creative professional setting in Dogpatch.
