This role ensures that all product imagery aligns with brand standards, accurately represents product details, and enhances the customer experience across multiple platforms. Additionally, this role provides general oversight to other onsite photographer resources to ensure consistency in image quality and alignment with brand standards. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in studio photography, lighting techniques, and post-production editing while excelling in organization and project management. They will produce both lifestyle imagery and consistent static, white-ground product images to ensure a cohesive visual brand presence. Additionally, this role is responsible for organizing and maintaining a structured digital asset library using Digital Asset Management software, ensuring assets are easily accessible for cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Photography & Asset CreationCapture high-quality product images, including both styled lifestyle shots and clean, consistent white-background photos, to support various business needs.Ensure all imagery accurately represents products, maintaining brand consistency in color, lighting, and composition.Utilize professional studio lighting and styling techniques to enhance product presentation.Manage the full photography workflow, from setup and shooting to editing and final delivery.Create digital renderings by overlaying designs onto blank product templates when physical samples are unavailable, ensuring realistic and visually compelling images.Oversee and provide guidance to other onsite photographer(s) to ensure consistency in image quality adherence to brand standards.Post-Production & Asset ManagementEdit, retouch, color correct, and optimize images for various platforms, ensuring consistency in quality and style.Organize and maintain a structured digital asset library using Digital Asset Management software.Ensure all files are properly named, tagged, and archived for easy retrieval by cross-functional teams.Implement quality control measures to ensure all assets meet technical and creative standards.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with the Creative, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams to understand photography needs and ensure deliverables align with brand and business objectives.Partner with the Product Assortment Planning and Product Development teams to gain a deep understanding of the product, accessories, and how all components work together.Learn and adapt to the company’s digitally native, vertically integrated structure, ensuring a strong grasp of personalization, customization, and product dynamics.Support product launches by capturing and delivering photography assets within project timelines and marketing rollouts.Studio & Equipment ManagementMaintain and organize the in-house photography studio, ensuring equipment is in good working condition and available for use.Stay up-to date, research and recommend new equipment, software, AI tools, and photography techniques to enhance the efficiency and quality of production.Manage studio props, backgrounds, and styling elements to elevate product presentation.Assist in managing the budget for props, equipment, and studio resources to ensure cost-effective and high-quality production.QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in product photography, studio photography, or e-commerce photography.Strong proficiency in post-production software Adobe Photoshop and Capture One.Experience utilizing AI-driven tools for image editing, background removal, and batch processing.Proven ability to manage multiple photography projects simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail.
