Attributes Thrives in an busy environment Adaptable: Flexibility in tasks & schedule: Able to juggle multiple customers and tasks at once Excellent communicator – Enjoys engaging individuals on a personal level & building relationships Caring individual that loves people A positive team player interested in working toward common goals Self-starter with creative problem-solving experience Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Able to gain support of co-workers in order to accomplish tasks that involve multiple individuals Skilled at prioritizing tasks based on importance Primary Responsibilities (Staging) Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy in each room of the home Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that help lead the customer through the station and flow through the home Produce cohesive interior displays and groupings of items for sale Come up with, revise and present design ideas with management Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market Monitor timeline of each display and work within event deadline Oversee the creation and completion of displays and product lots responsible for and brief management on direction / receive direction from management Edit displays to promote and reflect festive or seasonal themes Design stations based on city demographics and design trends Display and group merchandise based on product value Utilize Spreadsheets and POS system to upload products to an online platform Utilize smartphone or tablet to take captivating product photos for online selling Attributes Ability to visualize the end goal Hard working, goal oriented, self starter Good time management skills Ability to understand company visual standards Good communication skills A sense of color and design Creative mind Tech savvy Awareness of trends Knowledge of product display Essential Skills Demonstrable visual design skills Basic understanding of Excel and Google Drive Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices Creative and innovative thinker Ok with on-call shift scheduling, working weekends, and holidays Previous retail, sales and/or hospitality experience Experience or interest in product photography is a plus Experience in field visual merchandising, including interior displays and space utilization is a plus
