The Photo Emporium prevents boring parties! We provide fun and exciting photo booths to parties all over Alaska. We are looking for a team member that will support some of the 300 parties we attend each year.
As the Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical aspects of the events and ensuring the quality of service among those events. Various duties include prepping gear, gear maintenance, bus delivery, and proper operation/management of events.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations of Photo Emporium.Ensure all events are properly prepared with equipment, supplies, and event details.Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, transportation, and timelines.Manage the pickup and return of rental photo booths.Maintain and organize inventory of booths, printers, cameras, props, backdrops, and accessories.Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.Monitor event quality and ensure company standards are consistently met.Serve as the primary point of contact for staff during events.Develop and improve operational procedures for greater efficiencyAbilities:
Computer Savvy. Ability to learn new computer programs quickly. Excel. Microsoft. Asana. Slack. Zoho. Lumashare. Snappic.Ability to learn how to operate large vehicles (F350 and trailer) and Volkswagen buses - SAFELY.Detail oriented. Follow a sales sheet and place all gear in slot every time, every week, every month.Cleanliness. If an unswept shop drives you nuts, this is a good job for you.Ability to self-manage time. There will be times where your manager will not be physically present and you still need to get the job done.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.Availability on nights and weekends. Most of our events in winter are evening holiday parties. Most events in summer are day time or Saturday during the day.Just plain fun.
