Event Operations Team Lead

PhotoMules is hiring an Event Operations Team Lead to oversee weekend youth sports photography events throughout South Carolina and surrounding states. This role combines leadership, sales management, customer engagement, and event execution in a fast-paced outdoor environment. About The Role

As the Event Operations & Sales Manager, you are the leader on-site. You'll oversee event staff, ensure smooth operations, maintain a high-energy customer experience, and help drive sales performance throughout the weekend. This is not a desk job. You'll be actively leading your team, engaging customers, and making key decisions throughout the event.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead weekend event operations from setup through breakdownSupervise and support a team of 2–6 event staff membersCoach employees on customer engagement and sales techniquesMonitor team performance and help drive event revenue goalsInteract directly with parents, athletes, and coachesResolve customer concerns and operational challenges as they ariseCoordinate event logistics, equipment, and workflowOversee photography stations, printing operations, and order fulfillmentEnsure a positive experience for customers and team membersComplete weekly planning and event preparation activities

Requirements

Previous experience as a team lead, supervisor, manager, assistant manager, coach, educator, program leader, or similar leadership roleAbility to lead teams in fast-paced environmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSolid technical aptitudeWeekend availability (Friday–Sunday)Valid driver's license and clean driving recordComfortable driving a company vehicleAbility to work outdoors and remain active throughout the dayWillingness to travel regularly throughout the region
