Role: Event Photographer in Houston, TX AP Large Districts Meeting and will be held at Houston Airport Client at George Bush Intercontinental, 18700 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Houston, TX 77032 Mode: temp to support event on September 18, 2024 - 9am to 11am Profile: Evidence of conference photography along with portfolio Rate: since this is a rare need, we are somewhat open, but understand that professional event photographers can range from *** - *** per hour when freelancing. Process: submit resume/portfolio > .5 video interview w/team Event photographer to document an upcoming conference in Houston, TX by taking action shots and group photos. Set up equipment Configure cameras, lenses, lighting, and other accessories to ensure optimal image quality Take photos Capture candid moments and compelling images that represent the event's atmosphere and emotions Edit photos Retouch and edit photos to ensure quality and prepare them for printing and other media Create a portfolio Create a portfolio of photos for the event and archive them for future use Work with event organizers Collaborate with organizers to ensure photos align with their vision and are taken in a safe and respectful manner Provide customer service Interact with vendors and attendees, and provide customer service to event organizers and guests Candidates should have strong communication skills, creative flair, and artistic talent. They should also be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage content files.
