Event Photographer

We are seeking an experienced Event Photographer to capture a corporate 5K event taking place on October 31 in Huntersville, NC. This opportunity is ideal for a photographer who can independently document the energy of a live event, capturing candid moments, group photos, and action shots of participants throughout the event. The photographer will also be responsible for editing and delivering final images after the event.

The Basics

Duration: October 31 (event coverage) plus post-event editing
Hours: Up to 8 total hours, including onsite coverage and post-production work
Onsite Coverage: Approximately 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Huntersville, NC
Work Arrangement: Onsite event coverage with remote editing after the event
 

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with event photographyStrong portfolio showcasing candid, posed, and action photographyAbility to work independently and capture key moments throughout an eventExperience photographing outdoor events and active participantsProficiency with professional photography equipment and photo editing softwareStrong attention to detail and visual storytelling skillsAbility to deliver professionally edited final images within an agreed-upon timeframeReliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Huntersville, NCDrone photography experience and access to drone equipment are a plus but not requiredKey Responsibilities

Provide photography coverage for a corporate 5K eventCapture candid and posed photographs of participants and attendeesPhotograph participants walking and running along the 5K route throughout the business parkDocument event highlights, interactions, and key moments primarily outside the corporate officeCapture a variety of images suitable for internal and external communicationsEdit and deliver high-quality final photographs following the eventMaintain a professional presence while interacting with event participantsManage photography equipment and ensure comprehensive event coverage from start to finishIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
