TK Photography Chicago is looking for a sharp, adaptable Event Photographer to cover Chicago's robust event economy — corporate galas, nonprofit fundraisers, awards ceremonies, product launches, and private celebrations. Chicago is one of the country's great event cities. The Museum of Science and Industry, the Art Institute, Soldier Field, the Navy Pier, and hundreds of private venues host thousands of events every year. Event photography requires a documentary instinct — the ability to see and capture moments as they unfold, without disrupting the event. You'll move constantly through a crowd, working in mixed light, and capturing speaker shots, candid crowd moments, award presentations, and table portraits. Gala season in Chicago peaks in spring and fall, with corporate events running year-round. Many assignments are weekend evenings, so flexibility is key. You should be comfortable in formal environments — black tie galas, charity fundraisers, corporate dinners — and present yourself professionally throughout. No editing required. Upload and move on.
