Event Photographer - Equestrian Event

Onsite Time: 2 days total, approximately 3 hours per day Type: Contract / Freelance (one-time project with potential for future events) About the Opportunity

Lasso is seeking a fashion-forward event photographer to capture editorial-style imagery during a major equestrian event in Lexington, Kentucky. This is a short-term contract role focused on creating high-quality, editorial-style social media content featuring creators, brand activations, and behind-the-scenes moments. This role is ideal for a photographer with fashion, lifestyle, or editorial experience who can work quickly in a live event environment and deliver polished images on a fast turnaround.

Responsibilities

Photograph influencers, brand moments, and lifestyle content onsite during the event

Capture editorial-style imagery suitable for social media, brand use, and press

Work efficiently within a fast-paced event environment

Deliver lightly edited images quickly for near-real-time social media use

Coordinate briefly with the Lasso team onsite to identify key moments and creators to capture Schedule

Approximately 2 days of coverage during April 23–26

About 3 hours of shooting per day Requirements

Strong editorial, fashion, or lifestyle photography portfolio

Experience shooting people and styled content in live event environments

Ability to edit and deliver images quickly after shooting

Comfortable working independently and capturing content quickly in dynamic settings Nice to Have

Experience working with influencers, brands, or social media campaigns

Familiarity with equestrian or lifestyle events This is a one-time project, but the photographer may be invited to work with Lasso on additional equestrian events and brand shoots throughout the year.
