Events Manager and Social Media Liaison

The Events Manager and Social Media Liaison position necessitates collaboration with the marketing team to promote events while executing an ongoing marketing strategy that grows our overall brand. The Events Manager and Social Media Liaison reports to the Marketing Director. Key Responsibilities * Respond to all private event inquiries within 24 hours * Maintain an accurate and comprehensive schedule for private events, work closely with marketing team to ensure no public events conflicts exist when booking private events * Work with the Executive Management and Marketing teams to devise, formalize and implement a plan to grow private events revenue stream, provide feedback on plans, and show progress towards goals * Book and execute $300,000 in revenue from private events annually * Support established systems and help design and implement new ones to continually maintain high levels of profitability in private events * Effectively manage cash for the business and grow top-line revenue Plan, manage, and execute a marketing strategy in accordance with the desired goals set forth by the Executive Management Team * Design and implement weekly taproom events marketing e-mails * Grow our digital presence on all platforms by 100% in the span of one year * Ensure all platforms and our online presence are up to date * Identify and schedule external festivals that grow the Silver Branch brand * Conceive of and plan public events in accordance with the Executive Management Team * Ensure all menus are being maintained across platforms like Google, Untappd, etc. * Highly personable, effective in communicating with guests and capable of developing a successful social media and total marketing strategy * Responsible for establishing and teaching Silver Branch Brewing Company standards of service while always striving for continual improvement * Must have an eye for the greater good of Silver Branch; able to reach new audiences and maintain high levels of interest among our regular supporters * Cultural leader and relentless teacher at all times * Design and implement events which will continually contribute to our continued taproom and sales revenue growth Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications * Experience booking and executing private events * Strong skills with all Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Publisher * Familiarity with Tripleseat or other booking platforms * Expert skills in web design or word press a bonus * Demonstrated experience curating on brand content across all social media platforms * Must have creative flair, photography and video editing skills a bonus * Minimum 3 years customer service experience * Prefer front of house manager experience within the last 5 years * Minimum full-time requirement of 45 hours per week * Interest in pursuing the Certified Cicerone® exam and making efforts to obtain the designation of Certified Cicerone® within three years of promotion * Able to lift at least 50lbs and willing to work in a very fast-paced environment * Willing to work events during nights and weekends * Minimum full-time requirement: 5 days per week, with a minimum of 9 hours per managing shift for average weekly full-time requirement of 45 hours How to Apply Please e-mail your resume to jobs@silverbranchbrewing.com along with a description of why you'd like to work at Silver Branch Brewing Company.
