Exhibit/Graphic Designer (2 positions available)

Confidential Seattle-Tacoma, Washington

Sea Reach collaborates with private and governmental agencies in the design, production, fabrication and installation of interpretive exhibits and wayfinding signage. Summary: Full-time position. We will start with a zoom interview - please be prepared to show some work samples. Applicant must be able to work in a sometimes- chaotic work environment. Manage client reviews and revisions Maintain communication with client, team, and venders Willing to work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines Able and willing to travel Possess an innate sense of aesthetics Meet with team to discuss and brainstorm design and exhibit functionality Communicate frequently with project managers Assist with all aspects of design: develop icons, maps, photography, create original artwork and illustration, match existing artwork and illustration, acquire photos, internet research, write captions, understand and participate in fabrication Know when to ask for help and do so Maintain quality control and proof deliverables and final products Creates new designs in addition to following existing design standards in detail Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in visual communications or related field of study 5+ years relevant experience Experience managing a variety of design projects from concept through completion Portfolio displaying thoughtful solutions and stylistic diversity Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ownership, execution and accountability Flexible to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities Knowledge of wide format and digital press printing procedures, photography, and illustration is beneficial.
