Exposure It is a professional real estate media company expanding into the Greenville market. We work with top brokerages, teams, and agents to deliver high quality listing photography, drone, video, and 3D tours. We've built our reputation on fast turnaround, consistent quality, and reliable service, and we're hiring experienced photographers in Greenville to help us scale that same standard here.
The Role
This is a 1099 contract role for an experienced real estate photographer who already knows the craft. You bring the gear, the Part 107, and the portfolio. We bring the volume, the clients, the scheduling, and the editing team.
You show up. You shoot. You upload. We handle everything else.
Typical shoot: 25 to 60 minutes onsite depending on home size and package Typical home: 1,400 to 2,400 sq ft residential listings across Greenville and the Upstate Volume ramp: 3 to 6 shoots per week in the first 60 days, growing to 8 to 12+ per week as our Greenville market matures
What You'll Be Doing
Shoot 30 to 50 high resolution interior and exterior photos per property using HDR bracketing
Capture drone aerials when included in the package
Shoot cinematic walkthrough video and vertical reels on premium packages
Capture 3D tours using company provided Matterport or 360 cameras when needed
Upload unedited files same day after each shoot to our platform
Represent Exposure It professionally with agents, homeowners, and tenants
Follow established shot lists, workflows, and brand standards
What You Won't Be Doing
No editing or post production. Our team handles all retouching and delivery.
No client scheduling or rescheduling. Our operations team manages all of that.
No invoicing or chasing payment.
No client management or lead generation.
No nights, minimal weekends.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 50 completed real estate photography shoots (not headshots, not events, not weddings)
Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
Full frame mirrorless or DSLR camera body capable of HDR auto bracketing
14 to 16mm wide angle lens (full frame equivalent)
Sturdy tripod
Reliable drone for aerial photography
Reliable personal vehicle and clean driving record. You'll cover Greenville and the surrounding Upstate (Greer, Travelers Rest, Simpsonville, Easley, Anderson, parts of Spartanburg)
Same week availability with flexibility for occasional Saturday shoots
Ability to deliver consistent, clean compositions: straight verticals, proper exposure, full room coverage
Preferred (Not Required)
Gimbal and experience shooting cinematic real estate video
Prior Matterport or 3D tour experience
Existing relationships with Upstate agents or brokerages
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role paid at 20% of total job revenue.
What that looks like in practice:
Base photo only shoots: $45 to $55 per shoot
Shoots with add ons (drone, 3D, video): $65 to $95 per shoot
Premium full media packages: $90 to $140 per shoot
Paid on a regular, predictable schedule. No invoicing, no chasing.
Earnings scale with volume. Our experienced contractors in other markets average 10 to 15 shoots per week once the local pipeline is fully ramped. Strong performers with weekend availability and full media certification earn the most.
Ideal Candidate
You're a strong fit if you:
Already shoot real estate full time or part time and want guaranteed volume without managing your own clients
Have your Part 107 and use your drone regularly
Value a simple, predictable workflow over the grind of finding your own work
Can commit to a reliable weekly schedule and maintain quality across high volume
Want to plug into a professional team without giving up contractor flexibility

Two or three full sample shoot sets from recent listings (minimum 20 photos each, edited or unedited both fine)
Confirmation that you currently hold an active FAA Part 107 certification (include cert number if comfortable)
Your weekly availability (weekdays, weekends, or both) and how far you're willing to travel within the Upstate
Your current gear setup: camera body, lens, drone model
Approximate number of real estate shoots you've completed in the last 12 months
