Fairytale Portrait Photographer

Our Fairytale Photographer will be a confident portrait artist, responsible for capturing magical images of children in our “Mystical Forest” setting, using our props according to our session process! We believe in the importance of family and we will strive to give children a special experience and a portrait they can hold on to. For more on what our Fairytale Portrait Experience is like see www.fairytalestudios.com Objectives—our Fairytale Photographer will be: • Calling parents before the session to create excitement for the experience • Setting up the lighting and the shooting space/studio before sessions • Skillfully photographing children, capturing unique and moments and expressions • Creating the necessary images with a set of whimsical props within a specified time frame • Processing the images post-session in a timely manner for the sales team • Being a part of the Fairy Team, making children see how special they are, and helping parents feel cared for on the day of their Fairytale Experience Competencies • Confidence—comes with a natural boldness and ability to lead, to be in charge • Intuition—possesses an ability to see a moment about to happen • Efficiency—is able to get expected results in a short amount of time • Attention to detail • Persistence—demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to produce the necessary images • Proactivity—acts without being told what to do, brings new ideas to the company • Sensitivity—has an ability to discern children’s’ dispositions and insecurities and knows how to communicate with them to help them feel relaxed (using instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning) • Teachability—is able to receive constructive criticism and feedback; willingness to learn • Teamwork—reaches out to peers and supervisors to communicate; ability and desire to work as part of a team towards a common vision • Personality and humor—comes with an ability to “entertain” and engage children of all ages in order to gain their trust and secure natural expressions for the images • Enthusiasm—generates excitement and passion about the work
