Food Stylist Assistant

We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, proactive and creative Food Stylist Assistant to contribute to a fast-paced “startup” styling department. This position will work closely with the food styling and photography team. This is a part-time position that can be flexible with hours but has the potential to grow into full-time hours for the right person. What you’ll do Work with stylists to prep food/beverage items for the shoot each day Online and/in-store food and prop shopping Stock and maintain products in the studio Occasionally make a staff lunch for 10 - 12 people Organize and manage all products in refrigerators and freezers Maintain a clean and sanitary work station “Opens” and “closes” the studio and follows a checklist of items in the kitchen. Follows specific directions from lead stylist to ensure food is prepped to certain specifications Organizes prop room on a daily basis Attends all scheduled meetings with a positive attitude and a team mentality What you’ll bring to the table 3 - 5+ years prior kitchen experience be it commercial or household.
