Luminous Forensics is seeking candidates to help us create visualizations that make technical, specialized concepts and methods understandable in the courtroom. Qualified candidates will often have a degree in animation or architecture. We have seen architects succeed in similar roles in the past because they often combine an understanding of perspective and scale with an appreciation of aesthetically pleasing visualizations. This position involves articulating complex technical concepts through still graphics, interactive exhibits, animations, and scale models. Preference will be given to candidates with strong technical writing and communication skills and experience with the following software and techniques: Autodesk MAX, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, video tracking software, photogrammetry, match-moving, image-based scanning, drone photography, nighttime photography, and character animation.
