Candidates should be comfortable interviewing Oregon's top remodelers, architects and interior designers, as well as other home related businesses, zeroing in on a thesis and crafting a well-structured article. Topics vary widely and can include home building and remodeling, gardening and landscaping, interior design, furniture design, and architecture. Desired Skills and Experience: *Minimum 2 years of experience reporting, writing and editing for lifestyle markets *Strong knowledge of and passion for home design and lifestyle topics *Strong verbal and written communication skills *Copy editing (AP Style) *Strong writing ability *Ability to manage and meet deadlines Compensation is per word on a freelance basis.
