The Freelance Photo Assistant is responsible for assisting our photographer shooting our products during on and off-figure photoshoots. Typical hours for this position is 8:30a to 5:00p. This position is not full time and is booked on an as needed basis. Responsibilities And Duties • Great understanding and application of photography and lighting techniques • Support the photographer(s) on set during photo sessions to move/focus lights, set up sets, load in/out equipment, troubleshoot, etc. Qualifications • Experience working with children, all models are between the ages of 3 and 16 years of age • Experience photo assisting in a commercial studio • Excellent knowledge of Canon R5 and 5D4, Capture One program, and Paul Buff Einstein lights and accessories • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Superior attention to detail • Creative mindset and artistic personality • Customer oriented with a proactive and positive attitude • Excellent people skills • Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills • Reliable with the ability to adapt to changing conditions • Ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environment • Operating within health and safety regulations • Live within driving distance of our studio - St. Louis (Maplewood) area
