Freelance Photographer

Photographer is needed in Princeton, United States. The Associate Photographer will play a key role in capturing high-quality images to meet the needs of the Office of Communications. This position is temporary. Responsibilities: • Assist in setting up and preparing photography equipment for photo shoots • Collaborate with University photographer and campus partners to understand project requirements and objectives • Capture high-quality images in various settings, including studio and on-location shoots • Ensure proper lighting, composition, and framing of photos • Edit and retouch photos as needed to meet quality standards • Organize and maintain photo files and archives • Assist in managing photography schedules and logistics • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve photography skills Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field is preferred but not required • Relevant experience and a strong portfolio will be considered • Previous experience as a photography assistant or similar role preferred • Proficiency in operating photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and accessories • Strong understanding of photography principles and techniques • Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines • Portfolio showcasing previous photography work is preferred Other Information: Benefits Eligible: No
