Freelance Photographer

* CADY is a premier school photography company who is passionate about capturing and celebrating the most formidable years of the lives of students we engage with by telling their story through event and portrait photography products. In collaboration with other team members, you will successfully execute events within the CADY standard of Accuracy, Quality and Timeliness. *Responsibilities* * Provide concierge level service to our studio and school customers * Use cameras, along with a variety of equipment, such as tripods, filters, and flash attachments to capture high quality photos * Determine desired images and picture composition, selecting and adjusting subjects, equipment, and lighting to achieve desired effects * Test equipment prior to use to ensure that it is in good working order * Set up, mount, or install photographic equipment and cameras at studios and event locations * Take pictures of individuals and or small groups, either in a studio setting or on location * Adjust apertures, shutter speed, and camera focus according to a combination of factors, such as lighting, field depth, subject motion, film type, and film speed *Qualifications* * Background in photography with at least hobbyist level skills required * 1-2 years photography experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent with a valid driver’s license required * Able to successfully pass a criminal background check * Able to lift, move and operate camera equipment up to 40lbs * Be a creative thinker * Able to work well within a team setting and independently * Amazing customer service and communication skills * Willing and able to travel to all school events and studios within a given territory (Valid driver's license and insurance may be required).
