Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Freelance Photographer role based in Columbus, OH. The photographer will capture high-quality images for client campaigns, social media content, and video production support, including behind-the-scenes and promotional stills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing photo shoots, collaborating with creative and marketing teams on visual concepts, and ensuring brand consistency across all imagery. The role involves editing and retouching photos, organizing and maintaining digital asset libraries, and preparing files for use in web, social media, and print. The photographer will also participate in client meetings and location scouting as needed to support project goals.

Qualifications

Strong technical photography skills, including proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and composition.
Experience with photo editing and retouching using tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
Understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and how imagery supports marketing and social media strategies.
Ability to plan and manage shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and coordination with talent and production teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with creative directors, videographers, and clients.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in file management, metadata, and delivery of assets on deadline.
Prior experience in commercial, lifestyle, or documentary-style photography; agency or production environment experience is a plus.
Portfolio demonstrating a range of professional work relevant to brand, social media, or campaign photography.
Ability to work on-site in Columbus, OH and occasionally outside standard business hours when required.
