Freelance Photographer – On-Demand Assignments

Overview

Nyx & Lux is building a network of freelance photographers for on-location client assignments in Los Angeles. Bookings may include weddings, corporate events, photo booth events, productions, real estate, newborn or family sessions, and other photography projects.

Assignments vary. You’ll receive the location, schedule, requested coverage, deliverables, and pay before deciding whether to accept. Work is flexible, and bookings are not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

Photograph accepted assignments according to the client’s brief.Communicate professionally with clients and the Nyx & Lux team.Arrive on time with the equipment needed for the assignment.Deliver images by the agreed deadline and in the requested format.Edit images when editing is included in the assignment.Requirements

A portfolio showing your photography work.Experience in at least one relevant area.Reliable camera equipment and transportation to assignments.Professional communication, personable, dependable follow-through.Editing skills are helpful; specific requirements will be shared for each booking.Pay: If you use the $25–$100 hourly range in Indeed, clarify that the actual assignment rate depends on the booking and is shared before acceptance and may be more or less, you have the right to decline jobs or accept them but it will be first come first serve in our network.

Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
