Responsibilities

Travel extensively to various dance competitions and live sports-style events across North America to capture stunning images.Photograph fast-moving performances, candid interactions, award ceremonies, and behind-the-scenes activities.Setup, operate, and maintain professional camera equipment, including lenses and lighting as necessary.Collaborate closely with event directors, production crews, and studio partners to ensure alignment on shot lists and timelines.Ingest, cull, and lightly edit images for color, exposure, and cropping to uphold the high standards of the DanceBUG brand.Deliver photos on time using DanceBUG's designated platforms and adhere to file-naming and organizational protocols.Quickly adapt to evolving event conditions, schedules, and technical challenges while maintaining top-notch quality in your work.Provide exceptional on-site customer service to dancers, families, and clients.Follow all venue, safety, and data-handling protocols at all events.Offer constructive feedback to enhance event workflows, tools, and media products.Required Skills

Proficiency in action and sports photography.Experience in event photography.Skilled in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras.Expertise in fast shutter and low-light photography techniques.Knowledge of basic lighting and on-camera flash usage.Familiarity with photo editing software like Lightroom or similar tools.Ability to manage digital assets and maintain organized files.Strong skills in travel logistics and time management.Excellent client-facing communication skills.Experience working in fast-paced live event environments.
