We are on the lookout for experienced photographers for our February-June competition season. If you're skilled in shooting dynamic sports, concerts, dance performances, or other fast-paced live events, we will provide training on our specialized workflow and the exciting world of dance photography.
You focus on shooting; we take care of the editing!

Your Responsibilities Include:
Photographing fast-moving dance performances with varying stage lightingCapturing sharp and well-timed action shotsCollaborating with DanceBUG's media team during live competitionsBacking up, transferring, and uploading images as per DanceBUG’s workflowTraining Provided:
No previous dance photography experience necessary!
All new photographers will receive virtual training in January, followed by at least two live training events with our experienced Senior Photographers before working independently.
If you excel at photographing action, we will guide you through the specifics of dance photography.
Preferred Photography Experience:
We seek photographers with experience in fast-moving subjects such as:

Note that experience in portrait, studio, real estate, landscape, product, or architectural photography alone does not meet the requirements for this action-photography role.
Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United StatesReside within approximately one hour of a major airportAvailable for regular weekend travel throughout the seasonPossess a valid U.S. driver's licenseHold a passport or REAL ID-compliant driver's licenseComfortable driving up to 5-6 hours when necessaryAble to endure long production days and lift around 25 lbsWilling to successfully complete a criminal background checkEquipment Needed:

Two Canon, Nikon, or Sony mirrorless camera bodies24-105mm, 24-120mm, 24-70mm, or 35-150mm constant-aperture zoom lenses70-200mm zoom lensf/2.8 preferred; f/4 acceptedFour 64GB+ memory cards and a compatible card readerAt least three batteries and two chargersA monopodPlease note: DSLR cameras and other brands are not compatible with DanceBUG's proprietary photography system.
