This role is responsible for capturing high-quality lifestyle and product photography that brings our brand, products, and customer experience to life across digital and marketing channels.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on photography first, with the ability to support video capture as needed. Working from established shot lists, creative direction, and production plans, you will execute lighting, composition, and camera work to deliver consistent, production-ready imagery.The ideal candidate has strong experience photographing interiors and lifestyle room environments across a wide range of design aesthetics and product categories. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative studio environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with others, brings a positive mindset, and is comfortable working within a smaller, highly collaborative studio team.This freelance opportunity is designed to support ongoing collaboration and provides the potential for long-term partnership as the team continues to grow and evolve.What You'll DoCapture lifestyle and product photography across in-studio environmentsPhotograph visually compelling interior room environments across a variety of furniture styles and aestheticsExecute camera, lighting, and photographic setup based on established creative directionFollow shot lists, framing guidelines, and production plans to ensure consistency across assetsWork efficiently across multiple sets and scenes within structured production schedulesMaintain accuracy in product representation, including color, material, scale, texture, and styling detailsCreate balanced, inviting room imagery that highlights both product detail and overall spatial compositionAdapt lighting and camera settings to meet the needs of each scene while maintaining brand standardsSupport video capture as needed, ensuring continuity in lighting and framingPerform light retouching and image cleanup to deliver production-ready selectsOrganize and prepare files for post-production and downstream asset usageCollaborate closely with creative, styling, merchandising, and production teams to support smooth studio workflowStay informed on emerging tools and technologies, including AI-assisted workflows that support efficiency in image capture, editing, selection, and asset preparationWhat We're Looking ForProfessional experience in commercial, retail, lifestyle, interior, or studio photographyStrong portfolio demonstrating interior, lifestyle, and product photographyStrong experience photographing interiors, home furnishings, or lifestyle environments across multiple design styles preferredDeep understanding of studio lighting, composition, camera systems, and spatial storytellingExperience working within structured production environments and shot-driven workflowsAbility to execute at a high level while following established creative directionStrong attention to detail, especially in product accuracy and visual consistencyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting without sacrificing qualityComfortable working hands-on within a lean, collaborative studio environment where flexibility and teamwork are essentialWorking knowledge of video capture is a plus, but not requiredAbility to safely lift, move, and position furniture, props, and studio equipment as neededAwareness of emerging AI tools in photography and content production, with an understanding of how they can support workflow efficiencyTools & Experience (Preferred)DSLR or mirrorless camera systemsStudio strobe lighting setups for still photographyTethered shooting workflows (Capture One or similar)Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and LightroomBasic retouching skills including color correction and cleanupFamiliarity with AI-assisted tools for image editing, cleanup, or workflow optimizationBonus: Experience with video capture and lighting for motion contentRaymour & Flanigan proudly supports a drug and smoke-free work environment.
