Would you like to make a real difference with teens? We are now accepting applications for an enthusiastic, creative full-time AmeriCorps Member to serve from approximately September 2022-August 2023. The BTC AmeriCorps Member will serve as the BTC’s Activities Specialist and will work with the BTC Director to maintain a safe and engaging space at the BTC through programs, initiatives, and activities that help youth develop skills, engage in social activities and become active in their community. The member co-leads the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP/sex ed), mentors youth, tutors as needed, and facilitates collaborative projects with new and existing community partners. Upon successful completion of service, members are eligible for a $6,495 education award to apply toward existing or future education loans.
