Game Day Photography Internship The Menace is looking for a highly motivated individual interested in being a part of the United Soccer League team in Des Moines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, the ability to multitask, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. This is a paid, part-time summer position. ResponsibilitiesPlaying an active role on Menace game days, capturing photos of action on and off the field, including player arrivals, warmups, in-game action shots, and fan experiences.Selecting and editing top photos during and after the match for social media posting.Editing, organizing, and archiving remaining photos in a timely manner.Work Menace home matches in May - August. This includes full-day dedication to game day set up, servicing fans, and post-game tear down.As available, capturing photos at the Des Moines Menace pre-season events such as Open Cup and youth programs including Junior Menace, Just for Girls tournaments, and summer camps.Other projects and duties as directed by Menace Soccer Operations Manager.QualificationsA passion for sports and knowledge of the game of soccer is preferred.Experience shooting sports action and ability to provide a portfolio of previous experience.Creativity and knack for seeing things from different perspectives.Accessibility to a digital camera with sports-action capabilities is preferred.Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.Outgoing, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
