General Manager / Blasting Operator

During the startup phases of the business the GM will be required to perform all aspects of the business including but not limited to: • Preparing Written Job Estimates and Proposals – the GM will be responsible for making reasonable estimates for completing a job based on estimation criteria that includes, type of job, size of job and location availability for completing the job. • Equipment Maintenance – the Dustless Blasting business is an equipment and materials intensive business, and proper maintenance of equipment is required for optimal performance and safety. We are seeking applicants who are serious about building a career and scaling a business. • A passion for customer service, and delivering high quality work • Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time • Technically inclined, able to operate power machinery for up to 8 hours at a time • A strong work ethic and can-do attitude • Exceptional customer service skills • The ability to think on your feet and to remain calm in contentious/stressful environments • A business minded individual with sales and add-on instincts while delivering services on site • A clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening • Experience in hiring blasting technicians, motivating, and managing subordinate FTE’s • Creativity – the ability to articulate continuous improvement opportunities for all aspects of the business including: Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Business Execution
