Venture Heat is seeking a talented Graphic Design Intern to support our marketing team. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, a grasp of storytelling, and the ability to work in a environment with challenging deadlines. This is a paid internship ($15.00/hour) The duration of the internship is 3 months, with a commitment of 3 days per week on site. The internship will run for a three month period during the summer, with potential for transition to full time employment. Requirements: • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform • 2-3 years minimum design work experience or education • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills • Thorough understanding of typography, color theory, layout design • Strong organization and creative writing skills • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and communicate creative ideas effectively Additional skills • Knowledge of e-commerce, social media, and online marketing design trends • Photography, video and/or web development skills a plus Interested candidates should attach samples of their work and/or links to their online portfolio, relevant personal blog and social media presence.
