Graphic Designer

Purpose: The Graphic Designer will be primarily responsible for the design and production of online and offline collateral to promote and support the organization. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conceptualize and produce online and offline collateral for marketing and fundraising, including original campaigns, direct mail, brochures, print and banner ads, emails, PowerPoint presentations, etc. in both digital and print • Prepare and deliver files to vendors as needed for print, digital, merchandise, etc. and maintain print vendor relationships • Assist in the production of marketing and promotional materials and reordering inventory • Collaborate across departments on various projects • Create and design graphics that will be used in publications including social media, print, online • Assist in identifying opportunities and developing and implementing communications campaigns around key programs and issues • Maintain and update the internal catalog of content including photography, videography, text and other pieces delivered to the department • Assist in building the organization’s network through public relations networking with outside vendors including photojournalists, photographers, videographers, and authors • Manage projects via Workzone • Other duties as assigned REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design (or related field) or equivalent years of technical work experience • Must have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator • Ability to think creatively and analytically • Results driven, proactive, and able to work autonomously • Ability to collaborate with several teams at once, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously • Ability to manage relationships with vendors in a courteous and professional manner • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Strategic thinking active listener with strong creative problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented team player with excellent organizational skills DESIRED: • Experience with the video editing in iMovie, Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro • Experience with project management software (Workzone) • Bilingual (English and Spanish) • Experience with an international, health related nonprofit organization SUBMISSION: • Cover letter • Resume • Graphic Design Portfolio SALARY & BENEFITS: $52,000 - $60,000, depending on experience.
