Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer designs and produces impactful design that expresses project objectives and supports Schnitzer Properties, the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation art lending program, the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation, and other civic and philanthropic initiatives. Graphic design management and production for Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation, CARE Foundation, and other civic and philanthropic initiatives, including, but not limited to: ads, invitations, sponsorship materials, email marketing collateral, web graphics, presentations, etc. Website design, development, and user experience for Schnitzer Properties- related websites, including property microsites, special projects, campaigns, and nonprofit/civic initiatives Development and production of email campaign templates and graphics, including periodic newsletters for business, arts, and civic activities Support presentations and pitches with graphic creation including PowerPoint (or similar) slideshow decks, pitch boards, and RFP production Branding collateral and digital asset tracking for technology systems including portal websites Maintain organized portfolio of all designed assets Support photography production with occasional photo editing, as needed Collaborate with internal and external teams to solve problems surrounding design concepts and user experience Maintain understanding of new technology and best-case practices in graphic design, web design, user experience, and related applications Additional tasks and special projects as assigned Experience, training, skills required: Two or more years graphic and web design experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Ability to design and produce to both digital and print specs Experience in front-end web development and user experience High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Ability to successfully implement branding concepts and strategy through design Ability to manage project schedules and resources Ability to work effectively under multiple projects and time-sensitive deadlines Flexible and adaptive, able to conceptualize graphic and web design with minimal guidance Excellent verbal and written communications skills Strong work ethic, teamwork, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. License or Certification: None.
