Graphic Designer

Pacific Retirement Services, a non-profit leader in the senior living/hospitality industry, is seeking a Graphic Designer to work as part of the Media Services team to design printed and digital marketing collateral for PRS-affiliated and ?managed communities. * You will conceptualize and create brochures, newsletters, fliers, direct mail, ads/ad campaigns, logos, identity systems, web graphics, and other projects assigned as needed * Use an intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud aps, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop * Prioritize tasks to complete projects in a timely manner while still achieving the expected level of excellence * Establish and maintain consistent brand image for PRS and all PRS-affiliated and -managed communities, as well as clients served by PRS Management & Consulting, LLC * Work with an off-site printer to ensure quality of printed products through press checks and proofing * Initiate good ideas with practical applications, often under tight deadlines * Use organizational skills to archive and retrieve design, photo, and art files * Present work to clients, explain reasons for creative decisions, and suggest alternative approaches * Implement constructive feedback to improve design work * Perform product research; stay up-to-date on graphic applications and other graphic industry technologies, providing valuable insights into different creative approaches **About you:** * You have an advanced knowledge of graphic design as a result of a 2- or 4-year graphic arts degree, plus 2 or more years of experience in this field. * Experience with presenting work to clients and team members, web design, social media, project management software, and photography will also help you stand out in this role.
