Graphic Designer-Print and Web

We are a successful publisher looking for a graphic designer to create advertising and marketing materials, both print- and web-based, in a deadline driven environment. Applicants must be proficient in a Mac environment and be knowledgeable in current industry standard design applications, as well as have an understanding of pre-press and printing processes. Qualifications: • 2+ years as a graphic designer with portfolio to support experience and skills with an emphasis in branding, advertising and marketing collateral. • Advance knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Responsibilities: • Design concepts and layouts for various marketing collateral and advertising campaign materials both print- and web-based • Trouble-shoot technical problems on Mac systems • Edit content in CMS • Archive and manage digital files • Preflight and prepare PDF X1A files for press; alert production of errors • Edit content in PDFs • Maintain office-wide back-up software • Color correct advertising and editorial photography • Design and print in-house large-format pieces Benefits: • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Retirement plan • Paid time off Currently this position is working hybrid due to COVID-19
