Leading Edge Helicopters is hiring a personable, energetic team member to join our helicopter sightseeing operation.
This is a customer service and sales position first and foremost, combined with important responsibilities supporting our day-to-day flight operations. You will interact directly with customers throughout their entire experience—from the moment they arrive until they leave after their flight.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys talking with people, takes safety seriously, and is confident recommending and selling products and experiences to customers.
Responsibilities
As a Guest Services & Flight Operations Associate, you will:
Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional first impressionExplain available helicopter tours and help customers select and purchase flightsCheck customers in for their reservationsCollect passenger weights and assist with passenger weight-and-balance calculations in accordance with company proceduresDeliver required passenger safety briefings before flightsEscort customers safely to and from the helicopterAssist passengers with entering and exiting the aircraftFollow established ramp and aircraft safety procedures at all timesTake high-quality photos of customers in front of and inside the helicopterPresent and sell photo memory packages after customers return from their flightProcess customer purchases and paymentsAnswer customer questions and help create an exciting, memorable experienceMaintain a clean, organized, and professional customer and operating areaCommunicate effectively with pilots and other team members during daily operationsPerform other customer-service and operational duties as neededWhat We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
Is outgoing, personable, and comfortable speaking with customersProvides excellent customer service even during busy periodsIs comfortable recommending and selling products to customersCan confidently communicate safety instructions to individuals and groupsIs dependable, punctual, and responsiblePays close attention to detail, particularly when performing safety-related tasksCan follow established procedures consistentlyWorks well as part of a small teamCan remain organized while handling multiple customers and tasks at onceIs comfortable working around helicopters and an active aviation environmentPrevious aviation experience is not required. Training will be provided.
Customer service, hospitality, tourism, attraction, retail, restaurant, photography, or sales experience is a plus.
Schedule
This is a part-time, primarily weekend position.
Candidates must have reliable weekend availability and must be available between:
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Actual scheduled hours may vary based on business needs, customer demand, weather, and flight operations.
