It is a business partnership‑style contract where the photographer collects revenue and pays a percentage as a facility and studio usage fee.Compensation Structure (Profit‑Share)Photographer retains60%of all gross photography‑related revenue.Higher Ground retains40%as a Studio & Facility Rental Fee.Photographer collects all payments directly.No income cap—earnings scale with class attendance and bookings.Revenue SourcesBeginner photography classesPrivate photography sessionsStudio photo shootsWorkshops or themed sessionsPortfolio‑building sessionsKey ResponsibilitiesPhotography InstructionDesign and teach beginner photography classes (camera basics, composition, lighting, settings, etc. )Lead small‑group classes and hands‑on sessionsCreate a welcoming, supportive learning environmentSet class schedules in coordination with Higher GroundStudio OperationsOperate and maintain the photography studio during scheduled useEnsure studio is clean, organized, and ready for sessionsManage studio time usage efficientlyFollow all facility rules and shared space expectationsCreative & Business DevelopmentDevelop class offerings, workshops, or session packagesAssist with promotional content (photos, flyers, sample work)Collaborate with Higher Ground on scheduling and marketingBuild a consistent presence that attracts repeat clients and studentsRequired QualificationsPhotography experience (professional or advanced hobbyist)Strong understanding of camera fundamentals (DSLR or mirrorless)Ability to teach beginners clearly and patientlyComfortable working with diverse age groups and skill levelsReliable, organized, and professionalEntrepreneurial mindset—motivated by profit share, not hourly payPreferred QualificationsTeaching, mentoring, or workshop experienceStudio photography experienceFamiliarity with lighting equipment and basic studio setupsSocial media or portfolio showcasing photography workIndependent Contractor StatusThis role is an independent contractor position.Self‑manages payments, collecting revenue directly.Self‑manages taxes.Must not present self as an employee of Higher Ground.Must provide mandatory equipment unless otherwise agreed.What Higher Ground ProvidesAccess to photography studio spaceScheduling coordinationMarketing and promotional supportBooking infrastructure (if applicable)A built‑in audience for classes and creative programmingOpportunity to scale income without studio overhead#J-18808-Ljbffr
