Inside Sales Assistant

Anatol Equipment is seeking a motivated, energetic and detail-oriented person to join our team as an Inside Sales Assistant at our Lake Bluff, IL office. This is an ideal position for an entry-level candidate or recent college graduate in a business, communications or marketing-related field. This position will assist the sales department in its activities throughout all stages of the sales process, including: • Prospecting for new business, including cold calling and online research • Researching and qualifying new leads • Creating sales quotes and proposals for new and existing clients • Maintaining a database of current and potential customers and accurately entering sales data in sales software programs • Communicating and cooperating with marketing and service departments to ensure a quality customer service experience • Following up on pre- and post-sales activities • Closing business and achieving sales targets This is a new position created to allow the top producers on the sales team to pursue new business opportunities while ensuring current and potential clients receive high level support and attention. The position may also be required to assist the marketing department as needed. The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and exhibit the following qualities: • Detail and goal- oriented, demonstrated the ability to achieve targets • Highly self-motivated and energetic, able to stay productive with minimal supervision • Reliable team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written • Technically-inclined and computer literate – familiar with sales CRM programs, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and various social media networks • Friendly, personable and outgoing demeanor with customer-first attitude • Experience with printing, custom apparel, marketing (including photography and video production), screen printing, equipment manufacturing, and customer service are pluses Inside Sales Assistant requirements: • College degree or high school diploma with relevant work experience • Strong phone and cold calling skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with sales CRM and QuickBooks experience preferred • Excellent communication and listening skills • Previous sales experience preferred but not required Health insurance offered after 3 months’ employment Two weeks’ vacation after one year employment Simple IRA plan with company match
