The Deseret News (Salt Lake City, Utah), has an immediate opening for a paid six month (winter/spring 2026 semesters) photojournalism internship ($14/hr). Additionally we provide photojournalism for our print products. Interns should be able to edit and send pictures, multimedia and video remotely, and have the ability to write creative, accurate captions under deadline pressure. Along with our sister television station newsroom there are an additional 16 video photojournalists working for KSL-TV. Utah will host its second Olympic winter games in 2034.
