The Public Programs Intern will work closely with the Public Programs/Curatorial team to assist in planning, organizing, and executing various public program events and community engagement activities. The intern will be involved in various stages of event planning and coordination, from concept development to post-event evaluation.Daily Duties:This role will help with research, development, and organization of future public programs and will specifically set up systems and procedures for data collecting for programs and for post-program recaps. The role will provide hands-on support for program production during events, learning best practices in event production.Learning objectives and skills to be learned:Understand fundamental principles of public program planning, including concept development and timeline creation. Learn how to promote programs and create post-program engagement entrypointsAdditional Training and Development:The intern will be trained on how to create run of shows and other program production materials. They will learn two ticketing softwares (ACME and Ticketleap) as well as receive basic training in Mailchimp and Survey Monkey.
