Job Overview: The Charleston Battery is searching for a creative, hardworking, and determined intern that is willing to take photos, videos, and make great edits. They can have few to no experience as long as they are willing to get out of their comfort zone and try new things. This is the perfect opportunity for college students to get amazing work experience while being in the beautiful area of Charleston, South Carolina. This intern will capture enticing media content by collecting crowd energy, action shots, and overall game-day excitement. They will experience a collaborative environment alongside members who value teamwork, fun, and a mutual passion for the game.
Responsibilities:Capture high-quality photos and videos of all home matches and occasional training sessionsCollect crowd engagement, action shots, and overall game-day experienceEdit photos and videos to convert to platforms such as Instagram and TiktokFinish work in tight deadlines for the proper delivery dateDiscuss with the marketing team in order to enhance the most creative and sustainable work that closely aligns with the brand as a whole
Qualifications:0-6 months of photography or videography experienceA flexible working schedule Comfortable capturing high-quality content using Sony cameras or personal phones Content is closely related to our current social media and brand representationEdit photos and videos with consistent fonts and excitement Understand the concept of proper lighting, sound, and positionCreative and open mindset with professional attributesStrong communication skills and willingness to collaborate on new ideas
