Job Title: Inventory Control Reports to: Inventory Manager Department: Inventory Salary Range: DOE A career at Skagit Horticulture is challenging, rewarding, and satisfying. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Intermediary between Sales, Production and Selection teams, providing accurate plant readiness information. Source of up-to-the minute information, including pictures and descriptions as needed. Primary Duties: • Ready to Ship (RTS) updates, meeting deadlines • Ready to Ship updates daily and or as needed • Inventory Accuracy • Accurate Locations • Ready dates up-to-date or as per Grower Instruction • Cycle Counts • Participate in group crop reviews (Rounds) • Clerical support and data entry required • Lead and conduct facility tours • Work with other departments to ensure that procedures involving inventory are being done correctly • Other duties as assigned Required / Preferred Qualifications: • Reliable and detail oriented • Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple projects • Ability to work with others • Ability to initiate problem-solving • Ability to perform physical work (walking, bending, and lifting 40+ pounds) • Ability to tolerate and perform in adverse weather conditions • Knowledge of Skagit Horticulture product line preferred (primarily Annuals and Perennials) • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook programs • Web and photography skills preferred • Sage or ERP experience helpful, but not necessary • Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) • Must be able to type 35 WPM Special Requirements: • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested • Reliable transportation required for travel between locations • Flexible to work on either MV locations (HWY-99, MV, RB) • Willingness to help other departments • Must be able to lift 40 pounds Requirements for Position: Persons interested please forward résumé and/or contact Human Resources Safety • Ensure that all production and maintenance work areas are kept clean and safe.
