R2Net - James Allen is one of the world’s largest online retailers of diamonds that has pioneered the way consumers shop for fine jewelry online. Our Jewelry Photographer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day production needs of our e-commerce jewelry photography team. They will have a passion for learning and be self-motivated to pitch new ideas. Responsibilities: • Photograph jewelry using our in-house photography system • Ensure the images are crisp, well-lit, properly focus stacked, and true to the product • Organize and name files and folders correctly • Collaborate with teammates on styling ideas and consistency in lighting and angles • Ensure fast turnaround of images and that deadlines for launching new collections are met • Implement a meticulous and creative approach to the photography process • Focus stack, composite, and blend images in preparation for final retouching • Ensure all necessary images have been shot and are accounted for • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure professional use of chemicals (denatured alcohol) and other jewelry cleaning supplies • Perform additional duties as assigned
